According to the federation's deputy director, Ta Duy Anh, the repertoire will feature acts that were inspired by Vietnam's four sacred animals: the dragon, unicorn, tortoise and phoenix, which symbolise power, intellect, longevity and nobility.
Other highlights of the show will include a flag performance by circus artists and tuong (traditional opera) musicians.
Alongside acrobatics, the repertoire will also feature clowns, magic tricks and animals.
The performance will debut a few days before the Mid-Autumn Festival, so the show will also feature two legendary characters – Cuoi (the Moon Boy) and Miss Hang (the Moon)– as well as a lantern parade.
