Sub-marine cable to resume normal operation on October 4

said on September 17, citing sources of the cable’s operator.
The breakdown reduced Internet connectivity of telecom providers between Vietnam, Hong Kong and the US by approximately 40 percent.
According to FPT Telecom, the damaged cable was found 64km off the coast of Hong Kong (China).
AAG's cable repair team has planned for the repair.
It is the third time this year that the 20,000-kilometre cable, which connects the Southeast Asian region to the US, cable has been damaged.
