Five-star Muong Thanh Buon Ma Thuot hotel project in Buon Ma Thuot City has been suspended

Deputy chief inspector of Dak Lak Provincial Department of Construction, Nguyen Van Chu told the Lao Dong Newspaper on Thursday they has issued an administrative fine of VND40 million to the investor of Muong Thanh Buon Ma Thuot hotel project, Dien Bien Construction No.1 Company for building the hotel without permit.

"We've also asked the investor to stop construction on the project until they get the construction permit," Chu said.

Construction of the five-star Muong Thanh Buon Ma Thuot hotel project started in February at 81 Nguyen Tat Thanh Street in the central highlands city. The project covers 13,692 square metres. More than 10 storeys out of the building's 25 storeys have been built before the local authorities apparently found out about their violations.
