US woman killed in Hoa Binh traffic accident
One American woman was killed and US man injured in a traffic accident in the northern province of Hoa Binh on March 26.
A motorbike sidecar controlled by an American, transporting an American woman on the way from Hanoi to Son La crashed into a truck running in the opposite direction. A boy cycling was also hit by the truck.
Colonel Pham Van Su, Deputy Director of Hoa Binh Police Department, said that the department has co-operated with provincial Department of Foreign Affairs and the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to deal with the case.
