The US$530,000 system, to be applied at 20 classes at Nguyen Du school, incorporates smart educational equipment and tools, management tools, technological applications, training programmes, and digital learning materials.

Speaking at the handing-over ceremony, Inamine Hidenobu, from the Wanokai Association, said that the system was presented to facilitate the teaching and learning activities at Nguyen Du school, helping the school to become a bright spot in Hanoi’s education sector.

Expressing his gratitude to Wanokai Association for the gift, Director of Hanoi Department of Education and Training Chu Xuan Dung noted with pleasure that the educational cooperation between Hanoi city and Japanese localities has been maintained and developed over the past few years.

The number of Japanese language learners in Hanoi has continuously increased, only after English, he said.

The gift presented by the Wanokai Association will significantly support the educational reform of the city’s education sector, he stressed.
