Two foreign tourists drown in Hue beach
Two foreign tourists drowned while bathing at a famous beach in the central province of Thua Thien-Hue.
On November 18, a group of 21 Dutch tourists travelled from Quang Nam Province’s Hoi An Town to Thua Thien-Hue Province. They took lunch at a resort at Lang Co Town.

At 11.15 am, Dirk Wapstra and Amoldus Crnelis Joannes Goedhart went for a swim in the nearby sea. Then, they were later found drowned.
Amoldus Crnelis Joannes Goedhart was recovered by resort staff, while Dirk Wapstra was found by a fisherman.
The two dead tourists have been taken to Hue Central Hospital while procedures to hand over the bodies are being carried out.
