Three Vietnamese injured in Egypt bomb blast to be brought home

The three Vietnamese injured in a recent roadside bomb in Egypt will be brought to Vietnam on Thursday.

After doctors at Sheikh Zayed Specialist Hospital in Cairo said that they could be discharged from the hospital, Saigontourist worked with Bao Viet Securities completed related procedures.

Two female tourists Le Thi Ngoc Ha and Tran Thi Kim Anh had leg surgery, while Le Phuc had a foot injury.

An air ambulance was used to transport them to return Vietnam. Doctors are also arranged on the flight to take care of them. The flight is scheduled to land at Tan Son Nhat International Airport in HCM City at 2:45 am on January 10.

Saigontourist reported that after being landed, the three will be taken directly to Saigon-ITO Hospital for further treatment.

Bao Viet Securities have confirmed they will pay compensation to the victims.

Three Vietnamese people were killed and 12 others were wounded when a bomb blast hit their bus near the world famous Giza pyramids on December 28. There were 18 people on the bus at that time, including 15 Vietnamese and three Egyptians.
