Snow blankets Mount Fansipan
Mount Fansipan has been blanketed by snow, creating a picturesque scene for Sapa.
This morning, January 17, many visitors who came to Mount Fansipan were quite surprised to see snow there when the temperature was around 2.5 degrees centigrade.

According to the National Centre for Hydro-meteorology Forecasting, the northern region has experienced another spell cold with the popular temperature ranging from 10 to 13 degrees centigrade. Many mountainous areas can see the temperature of below 5 degrees centigrade.
