The meeting was held on June 18 on the framework of the Vietnamese Minister’s working visit to the EU and Belgium.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade is strictly establishing specific action programs and organizing usual dialogues with business associations in the Europe and other organizations in the EU.

Anh expressed thanks to the European business associations for active introduction of the EVFTA for joint benefits, suggesting the associations urge the European Parliament to approve the agreement.

At the event, representatives of the European business associations shared information not only about the FTA but also further cooperation, which are sustainable and strategic meanings to Viet Nam-EU trade relations.

A number of European business associations have positively joined hand with the Vietnamese side to organize events to introduce the agreement and encourage leaders of the EP and EC as well as Ambassadors of the EU country members to advocate the signing of the agreement.
