US teacher dies in Nghe An
Police in the central province of Nghe An are investigating the death of an American teacher at an English training centre in the area.

According to Vinh City police department, the male teacher died after falling from the balcony of the fourth floor at the Cleverlearn English Centre at 39A Le Hong Phong Street at 4.30 pm on August 18.
"There was a cable wire rolled around his neck," police said. "This is suspected to be a suicide. He has US nationality and was a teacher at the Cleverlearn English Centre here."

Speaking to Dantri/Dtinews on Monday, director of Cleverlearn English Centre, Nguyen Thi Hien said that the teacher was 54 years old and had US nationality.
"I was on a business trip to Hanoi when the incident happened," Hien said. "I'm very shocked and sorry to see this. He had only started teaching at our centre for over a week and he was an enthusiastic and humorous teacher. We now have to wait for investigations from local authorities."
