Two direct air routes connecting HCM City with Bali, Phuket to open next month

Viet Nam Airlines will launch two new direct air routes connecting Ho Chi Minh City with Bali (Indonesia) and Phuket (Thailand) since October 27 this year.

Accordingly, as many as seven flights per week will be organized between Ho Chi Minh City and Bali. Within the period from October 27, 2019 to March 2020, the airlines will launch five flights due to limit in Denpasar Airport in Bali. 

The flight will start from 11.10 am from Ho Chi Minh City and 16.50 pm from Bali on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. This is the second direct air route between Viet Nam and Indonesia, after Ho Chi Minh City-Jakarta air route, which opened in December 2012. 

Ho Chi Minh City-Phuket air route will have three flights per week, taking off in Ho Chi Minh City at 15.50 pm and Phuket at 18.40 pm on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays. 

The flights are expected to increase to seven per week from late March 2020. This is the third direct air route between Viet Nam and Thailand launched by Viet Nam Airlines. 

The airlines will re-open the direct air route between the central city of Da Nang and Bangkok, Thailand since October 27, starting at 15.20 pm in Da Nang and 18.00 pm in Bangkok. 

Passengers may purchase two-way ticket from Ho Chi Minh City to Phuket and Bali with US$19 and US$69, respectively from September 20-November 10.  

The two-way ticket from Da Nang to Bangkok will enjoy preferential price of US$15 from September 20-November 30.
