The Central Highlands Province of Dak Lak has been experiencing heavy rains since Sunday, submerging around 300 houses in Lak District. All people in these households have been excavated to safe places.
Storm Nakri has caused the severe inundation for the central region
Krong Pak River’s water level has sharply risen, which would bring floods for some neighbouring areas. The same situation has also been reported at many others rivers and streams in the province.
Meanwhile, the typhoon has damaged 50 hectares of sugarcane and caused power loss for many areas. Lots of transport works, including roads, have been eroded.
The water level of Phu Yen’s rivers has gone up, posing flooding risks.
The storm has harmed around 350 hectares of rice and crop in Khanh Hoa Province’s Ninh Hoa Town.
The National Centre for Hydrometeorology Forecasting said that Storm Nakri weakened into a tropical depression at 11 pm on November 10. The wind speed in the centre of the depression was 50-60km per hour. In the following 12 hours, it will move to the west at a speed of 10-15km per hour.
