Chinese man recovers from Coronavirus following treatment at HCM City hospital

One of two Chinese citizens who have been diagnosed with novel Coronavirus have recovered following treatment at Cho Ray Hospital in HCM City.

A 66-year-old Chinese man and his 28-year-old son from central China's Wuhan to Hanoi on January 13, and then to the Vietnamese southern central city of Nha Trang, where his son, who had been in southern Vietnam's Long An for several months, went to meet him.

The two both then went to Ho Chi Minh City and Long An. The father and son began to have fever on January 17 and January 20 respectively, and were admitted to Cho Ray Hospital last week.

They were immediately insolated for treatment at the hospital.

According to the information from Cho Ray Hospital and Pasteur Institute, Li Zichao no longer has a fever and was tested negative to the virus twice on January 25 and 27.

Meanwhile, his father Li Ding was in a quite stable condition. He can eat and sleep. He has experienced no fever since January 25. Liver and kidney functions are operating normally. He is waiting for a Coronavirus test.

To date, Vietnam has seen no more Coronavirus patients. By January 27, 38 out of 63 people who have had fevers have been isolated for the treatment.
