Three people quarantined after South Korea visits

HCM City have quarantined three of 575 people who arrived at Tan Son Nhat International Airport early today, February 24, from South Korea’s coronavirus-hit area. 

The passengers were from five flights from South Korea to HCM City and three among those are from Daegu City. Among the three, one who had cough was taken to the HCM City Hospital for Tropical Diseases for testing, while the two were isolated at a field hospital in Cu Chi District.

The other passengers are advised to keep a close watch on their health and take preventive measures. They need to go to hospital in case of respiratory problems. 

The central city of Danang has also quarantined a person returning home from South Korea with a fever. 

This morning, February 24, the Ministry of Health held a meeting on coronavirus prevention amid the outbreak in South Korea with the participation of representatives from the ministries of transport, police, foreign affairs, defence and culture, sports and tourism. 

Under the Ministry of Health's instruction, all passengers from South Korea to Vietnam are required to make health declarations from February 23.
