UK, Vietnam raise public awareness on human trafficking
The British Embassy in Vietnam has coordinated with relevant Vietnamese agencies for communication activities to raise public awareness on human trafficking prevention.
With the message “Don't bet your future - illegal migration can make you a victim of human trafficking,” the campaign encourages people to thoroughly consider their paths to become migrant workers, and understand risks they may face when they choose illegal immigration.
Speaking at the event, Deputy Head of Mission of the British Embassy in Hanoi Stephen Lysaght said the UK and Vietnam are closely cooperating to fight this serious crime, and are raising awareness on the dangers of human trafficking for those who are vulnerable.
