344 Vietnamese citizens in Singapore landed safely at the Can Tho International Airport on a repatriation flight organised by authorities of the two countries on Sunday afternoon.
344 Vietnamese citizens in Singapore landed safely at the Can Tho International Airport on May 31.
The passengers included children under the age of 18, elderly people, persons with illnesses, labourers with expired contracts, and others with expired visas stranded in Singapore due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
After arriving at the airport, all the passengers and the Vietnam Airlines flight crew members received heath checkups were sent to quarantine for virus prevention.
According to the Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam, 21 flights will help in repatriation efforts between May 18 and June 15.
