Vietnam launches Action Month for Environment
The Action Month for Environment was launched in Hanoi on Friday to mark World Environment Day (June 5).
For this year’s World Environment Day, the theme chosen by the United Nations Environment Program is "Action for Nature". According to the UNEP, this year is important for countries to make commitments to preserving nature and biodiversity. There are plans to intensify a wide range of measures aimed at rejuvenating degraded ecosystems. This fits in with a wider goal of responding to climate change, boosting food security, and protecting water resources.
Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Vo Tuan Nhan speaks at the event on June 5, 2020, in Hanoi
