13 workers stuck on Quang Ngai river saved
Rescue force has saved 13 workers from being stranded on Tra Khuc River in the central province of Quang Ngai.
The information was given by Colonel Vo Van Ba, head of the provincial Military Command.
Vo Quoc Hung, the chief official manager of the provincial people’s committee said that the water level in Tra Khuc District has gone down.
Quang Ngai is among central localities hardest hit by Storm Molave with torrential rains and strong winds. More than 53,000 local houses have been damaged by the typhoon.
The province has prepared to evacuate over 12,000 residents to avoid flooding in the downstream of the Tra Khuc, Ve and Tra Cau rivers.

The workers are saved on October 29.
According to the initial information, on Wednesday afternoon, the workers were stuck while working in a container house amid the river due to strong currents. Quang Ngai authorities had to ask reservoirs to temporarily stop discharging water so that they could carry out the rescue mission.
