Fire erupts on tourist boat off Hoi An
A tourist boat with 18 people on board suddenly caught fire while on the way from Cu Lao Cham Island to Hoi An City in the central province of Quang Nam.
Man added that right after being informed of the case, local authorities sent six canoes for the rescue.
Around 30 minutes later, all people on the boat were brought to Cua Dai Beach safely.
The investigation into the cause of the fire is still underway.
According to Colonel Hoang Van Man from Quang Nam’s border force, the incident occurred at around 1:15 pm on Sunday when the boat was around two nautical miles from Cua Dai Beach.
