Landslides in Dak Lak bury homes
Heavy rain has caused landslides in the Central Highlands of Dak Lak, burying many local houses.
Chairman of Krong Bong District People’s Committee Le Van Long, said the incident happened in Hoa Phong and Hoa Le communes on Sunday afternoon.

Many houses in Dak Lak were buried by the landslides.
Long added that three houses in Hoa Phong Commune were totally demolished due to landslides. Many others were also partially buried.
On Sunday morning, local authorities had evacuated 23 households in the two communes. At present, they are temporarily staying at the headquarters of the local people’s committees.
The landslide areas have been blocked to ban people from approaching. All local students remained off school to ensure safety.
