Two female tourists found dead at Lam Dong national park

Two women who had been reported missing when visiting a national park in the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong have been found dead.

The two, one 31 and the other 28, was from a group of 64 tourists who joined the trip to Bidoup-Nui Ba National Park in Lac Duong District on November 28.

While the travellers were going through a bridge across K'Long K'Lanh Stream in the afternoon, four among them were suddenly swept away by the floodwater. Two of them were saved, while two women were missing.

The body of the first victim was found near the bridge on Tuesday. Meanwhile, the second one was also detected nearby this morning, December 2.

The women’s possessions drifted to the locations which are some 1-2 kilometres from the bridge.

Earlier, local authorities mobilised around 100 people for the search.
