Huong and her child

Six years ago, she married when she was just 18 years old. After giving birth to her daughter, she was diagnosed with the final stages of kidney failure. At that time, her husband left her. Her relatives helped to set up the tent for her.
 
Her room is large enough for a gas stove, a hammock and some other small things.

Despite being ill, she tried to work for a cashew processing facility. One day, while working, she suddenly fainted. She was taken to a hospital where doctors said that she suffered from heart problems. Since then, she and her child have been living on state social security benefits.

Dang Thi Kieu Luong, a representative from Dai Hoa Loc Commune’s Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs Board, hoped that donors could support her family so that Huong can have money for her treatment and her daughter can go to school.
