Malaysian food festival in Hanoi

The Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board will launch Malaysian Culinary Week in Hanoi from March 26 to April 2.

The event, to be held at Sunway Hotel, is aimed to promote Malaysia\'s diversified and colourful culture to Vietnam.

Culinary culture of Malaysia is the harmonious combination of different cultures such as Chinese, Indian and the indigenous Malay people. The Malaysian traditional cuisine is diversified in colour and flavour. The use of natural raw materials with vivid colours of the natural fruit has characterised the traditional dishes of this "Paradise of Asian cuisine".

During the food festival, more than 30 famous foods and drinks of Malaysian such as Panggang Ayam, Sambal Petai and Me Mamak will be introduced along with the Teh Tarik tea performance prepared from tea and milk.

Besides the A La Carte dishes, the Malaysian food lovers can also enjoy a lunch buffet for USD15+ at the Sunway Hotel, 19 Pham Dinh Ho Street.
