Giant whale rescued on Nghe An beach
Hundreds of people in Dien Chau District in the central Nghe An province gallantly rescued a giant whale that was stranded on a local beach.
According to local people, the giant whale was found stranded on the shore at around 5 am on May 25. The 13-metre whale showed some evidence of injury on its body.
Three excavators were sent by local authorities to help the whale return to the sea. The whale was safely returned to the sea but it looked very tired after seven hours stranded and could only swam slowly near the shore.
