Vietnam wins gold medals at international photo competition

Vietnamese photographers won two gold medals in the tourism category at the second International Photo Contest – 2017 which has recently taken place in India.
 

The photo ‘Thu hoach muoi’ by Tran Thi Thu Dong

The winners were Tran Thi Thu Dong with the photo entitled ‘Thu hoach muoi’ (Salt Harvest) and Le Hoang Nhan with ‘Chan vit No.2’ (Tending duck No.2).

The contest was held by the Kotrung Uttarpara Photography Associaton, India, under the sponsorship of the International Federation of Photographic Art.

With four categories including black and white, colour, nature and tourism, the contest attracted the participation of 237 photographers from 45 countries and territories around the world.

Earlier at an international photo contest held by Photography Pathshala, India, three Vietnamese artists: Le Hoang Nhan, Than Nguyen and Vo Dinh Khoa were granted gold medals with the photographs ‘Tending Duck No.2’, ‘Thuc an cho vit’ (Feed for Duck No.2) and ‘Hanh phuc tuoi gia” (Happiness in old age), respectively.

In addition, Vietnamese photographer Tran Huu Hoa was honoured with two gold medals at the Photographic Art Competition held by the Federation of Indian Photography.
