Four killed in car-truck collision in Son La
Four people have been killed and one seriously injured when a car collided with a truck in the northern mountainous province of Son La on Tuesday.
The tragic accident which occurred at 3.30pm on November 21 on the National Road 6 left four people in the car dead and the driver seriously hurt. Two people in the truck had slight injuries.
According to police, the car driver, Ha Cong Khui, 52, who is being treated in hospital, was tested positive for alcohol use.
Chairman of Long Luong Commune People's Committee, Tenh A Chia, told Dantri/Dtinews that the car was speeding and going on the opposite direction when the truck came and hit it to the road side.
"Four people including two children were found dead in the car while the driver was seriously injured," Chia said.
