Two tiger carcasses found in coach

Police in the central province of Nghe An have seized two dead tigers kept in glass jars found on a coach.

According to Lieutenant-colonel Cao Viet Tuan, deputy head of Dien Chau District’s traffic police, the tigers were discovered on the coach on the evening of April 19 when it was travelling through Dien Ngoc Commune, Dien Chau District.

The coach driven by Nguyen Xuan Nam, 43, was travelling from HCM City to Hanoi.

The two tigers were found in glass jars which were put into spongy boxes.

Driver Nguyen Xuan Nam and his assistant Tran The Phong said that Phong took the two boxes into the coach under the instruction of Trinh, the manager at Ben Dong Station in HCM City.
