The flight BL211 which transported 180 passengers which departed Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi at 10:50 this morning, July 16, was scheduled to arrive at Lien Khuong Airport in the central highlands province of Lam Dong at 12:20.

However, unfavourable weather affected the flight as it was about to land at Lien Khuong Airport, so the captain decided to fly to Cam Ranh Airport where it was landed at 13:10 on the same day.

After waiting for one hour at Cam Ranh Airport, the flight left there to return to Lien Khuong Airport at 14:13. The flight then arrived at the airport at 14:50.

According to Jetstar Pacific, the case also affected some other flights on Hanoi-Da Lat route.

Under aviation regulations, airlines are exempted from passenger compensation in cases where flights are delayed or cancelled because of bad weather.
