Dantri/Dtinews honoured for contributions to education

The Ministry of Education and Training on Friday held a ceremony to present Orders of Merit and Certificates of Merit to the editor-in-chief and 10 journalists at Dantri/Dtinews Online Newspaper for their outstanding contributions to the education sector.

Addressing the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Education and Training, Pham Manh Hung highly appreciated the great contributions of Dantri/Dtinews Newspaper to the development of the education sector and wider society.


“Dantri/Dtinews is one of a few newspapers that we read every day," the official said. "We are pleased that the newspaper has always been reported on both the achievements and shortcomings in the education sector."

The official also praised Dantri/Dtinews Newspaper led by editor-in-chief Pham Huy Hoan for actively organising various charity and social activities.

At the ceremony, deputy minister Hung awarded Orders of Merit to Dantri/Dtinews' editor-in-chief Pham Huy Hoan and deputy head of the Education Desk, Vu Thi Hong Hanh.

Nine other journalists of the newspaper were given Certificates of Merit for their contributions to the development of the country's education sector.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dantri/Dtinews' editor-in-chief Pham Huy Hoan said that it was a great honour for the newspaper to receive the awards from the Ministry of Education and Training.


“We have always worked with all our hearts," Dantri/Dtinews leader said. "Since our first days, we've promoted the development of the education sector. The awards not only recognise our contributions but also show the attention and willing co-operation from the education sector."
