Police hunt man for child deaths
The police in the southern province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau are searching for a local man for involving in his children's deaths.
In the early afternoon of Thursday, some local residents found the body of a little boy contained in a bag on Bai Truoc Beach in Vung Tau City. The boy was around nine months old.
At around 5 pm on the same day, a girl aged roughly two years old was also detected at the local beach.
After the police’s announcement about the incidents, the victims’ relatives came to the police station and provided some details.
According to the initial information, the victims are both the natural children of Nguyen Trong Quan, 28.
At around 1:30 pm on Thursday, Quan sent messages through Facebook to his relative, telling him to go to Bai Truoc Beach to bring the bodies of his children's home.
Quan added that he tried to commit suicide along with his children, but he did not die.
The father has escaped.
