Khanh Hoa fishing boats leave for Tet fishing
Many fishing boats in the southern central province of Khanh Hoa have left for trawling expeditions during the coming Lunar New Year.
The provincial Fisheries Department held a ceremony to see off fishermen for their first voyage in the new year. The event saw the participation of nearly 100 fishing boat owners who catch tuna at areas near the Spratly and Paracel islands.

The fishing boat owners have prepared chickens, Chung cake and preserved fruit for the 20-day journey.
Le Quoc Hung from Nha Trang City’s Phuoc Dong Commune, said that he stored 5,000 litres of oil along with food and drinks so that the crew memberscan enjoy a Tet like on the mainland.
