Over 480 Chinese tourists in Khanh Hoa Province will be flown back to China on February 15.

According to Khanh Hoa Department of Health, the Khanh Hoa Hospital of Tropical Disease is still monitoring three suspected cases of coronavirus Covid-19 but haven't detected any new case in the past 15 days.

From January 19 to February 13, 83 people were monitored and isolated. A hotel receptionist was cured and released from the hospital. 79 people were tested negative and 66 of them have been released. Bui Xuan Minh, director of the Department of Health, said they were monitoring 15 people who had close contact with the hotel receptionist.

There are 268 people that had close contact with a Chinese couple that tested positive. However, they are all tested negative. The department has asked nine people returned from China and 24 family members to self-isolate in Ninh Hoa Commune.

Over 480 Chinese tourists arrived in Khanh Hoa Province and weren't able to go home after the flight ban was implemented on February 1. Khanh Hoa authorities said they would organise flights to bring the tourists home on February 15.

The representative of Vietnam Airlines in Nha Trang said many people had bought tickets for the flights. They will organise two flights from Cam Ranh International Airport to Guangzhou and Chengdu. Those planes will not pick up any passengers in China and return to Vietnam empty.

In 2019, Khanh Hoa received over 2.4 million tourists from China. On February 2, Khanh Hoa Province People's Committee proposed to the prime minister and Ministry of Transport and related agencies to have plans to bring remaining Chinese to their home.
