The patients, two females and one male, are all Vietnamese. One recently returned from Europe and two others from Bangladesh. They all tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 a short time after staying in quarantine areas.

After being treated at the National Hospital of Tropical Diseases, they have fully recovered with at least two times testing negative for the virus.

They will continue to be isolated and monitored at the hospital for the next 14 days.

With the recovery of these three patients, Vietnam has so far successfully treated 358 out of 381 Covid-19 cases, or nearly 94 per cent of total cases. No deaths have been reported.

As of Thursday evening, the country reported no Covid-19 community transmission cases for 91 consecutive days.
