220kV Muong La substation energised and put into operation
The Central Power Projects Management Board successfully energised and put into operation AT1(220/110/22kV-125MVA) transformers at Muong La 220kV substation in Muong La district, Son La province on January 26.

The project was commenced in October 2019 and saw a total cost of over VND387 billion (US$16.7 million), the capital having been invested by the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT).
The project built and installed two 220/110/22kV-125MVA transformers.
The substation is expected to meet power demand for areas in Son La province while transmitting electricity from small hydroelectricity plants in the province to the national grid.
The substation will also help reduce the load on the 220kV Son La substation, increase system connectivity and enhance safety on the regional power grid.
