Hanoi authorities have requested the use of warning signboards at the houses of Covid-19 patients.

This is among the contents of the Hanoi People’s Committee’s instruction on the quarantine and treatment of Covid-19 patients at home.

A quarantined area in Hanoi for Covid-19 prevention

The city allows mild and asymptomatic Covid-19 cases to be treated at home. The mild symptoms include fever, cough, sore throat and headache without signs of pneumonia. The patients are children aged from three months old and people who are aged below 49 and have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19, except for pregnant women.

The city has ordered that signboards should be placed at houses with Covid-19 cases who are under home treatment.

Patients have to stay in a separate room with their other family members to avoid infections. The rooms need to have enough conditions for Covid-19 prevention regulations with hand wash, a thermometer and a dustbin to hold infectious waste. Relatives have to use a face mask, medical gloves and clothes to come into the room.

Households with Covid-19 patients are also encouraged to install cameras for quarantine supervision.
