Nicaraguan-American disc jockey Craze, a six-time winner of the World DJ Championship and voted as America’s best DJ in 2001 by Time magazine, will perform in Hanoi this week.

At the Heineken Green Planet 2011 show hosted by the beer manufacturer at the Capital Tower Saturday, he will play mostly hits by record label Slow Roast.

Craze, 34, who plays hip hop, Miami bass, breaks, Dubstep, drum n bass, is also the only solo DJ to claim the World Disco Mix Club Champion trophy three times in a row when he won from 1998 to 2000.

He is also a producer of drum’n’bass records for Cartel, BreakbeatKaos, and C.I.A record labels and hip-hop musical entertainment products for DMC, Ninja Tune, OM, and K7 record labels.

Craze has been touring Australia, Japan, Iceland, Nicaragua, and France before his Vietnam visit.

Heineken Green Planet is an annual event held since 2007.
