This morning, after a long Tet holiday, life has been brought back to the streets of Hanoi with adults going back to work, and students back to school. Despite this, the traffic still seems to be operating quite smoothly and so far there is no need for the Hanoian traffic police to put their baton back to use.
It has been predicted the traffic after Tet days would be terrible and people might forget their road habit, which could lead to traffic jams at peak hours. However, as recorded by a reporter from DTiNews, the traffic on the whole Nguyen Trai street and Ton Duc Thang street was moving quite smoothly this morning, unlike normal days when it is often blocked, making it difficult for vehicles to move on these streets.
