Deputy PM attends World Economic Forum 2015

 The Deputy PM is expected to address strategic dialogues that map the key transformations reshaping the world. The dialogues will deal with issues on ASEAN, global food security, climate change, geopolitical trends and economic and political prospects in 2015 as well as issues related to enterprises.

The top diplomat is scheduled to talk with leaders of business, government, international organizations, academia and civil society from different countries.

The WEF 2015 themed “The New Global Context” is forecast to attract 2,500 delegates including 30 senior state leaders such as the German Chancellor, Prime Ministers of Malaysia and Cambodia, the Indonesian President and Presidents of the World Bank (WB) and International Monetary Fund (IMF).

According to the organising board, there will be over 200 working sessions and dialogues, 22 of which will be broadcast live.

Vietnam established relations with the WEF in 1989 and has been invited to its annual meetings in Davos.
