Six nations attend “Europe meets Asia in contemporary dance” festival
A press conference was held on September 29 in Hanoi to
introduce the fifth annual “Europe meets Asia in contemporary dance”
festival, which is slated for October 1-4.
The four-day event, co-organised by the European Union National Institutes for Culture (EUNIC), European embassies in Hanoi, the Vietnam National Opera and Ballet (VNBO) and the Goethe Institute, will be held in both the Youth Theatre and Hanoi Opera House.

The festival will give audiences a chance to enjoy contemporary and sophisticated dances from different nations like Germany, Belgium, Israel, Japan, and Poland.
Belgium’s Wallonie-Bruxelles delegation and the VNBO will collaborate to deliver a dance performance.
Vietnamese choreographer Tran Ly Ly will represent the host to entertain audiences with a dance play.
