A family in the central province of Nghe An has blamed a plane for damaging the tiled roof of his house which is near Vinh International Airport.
Le Van Tien, from Nghi Trung Commune in Nghi Loc District, said the incident happened at 1pm on May 27 when his family was taking a nap.
“We heard the loud noise from a plane’s engine and then the tiles falling from the roof of our house," he recalled.
Tien then filed a complaint to the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV), calling the authority to looking into the incident.
Authorities at Vinh International Airport had arrived to examine and reported that there were about 200 tiles that were removed and 20 broken.
A representative from the CAAV, Ho Sy Nam, confirmed that there was a plane landing at Vinh International Airport at the time of incident.
"Air traffic and flight route control units are identifying the aircraft to have further solutions," he said.
