Many people in Hanoi are struggling to find cool places to rest during the blazing  hot weather when temperatures rising up to 40 degrees on the streets.

Those who have to work out in the streets are trying to avoid the sun by rushing down to underground tunnels or hiding under overpasses when the heat becomes unbearable.

It is forecast that the heatwave will last two more days.
