The Authority of Broadcasting and Electronic Information has issued a VND30m (USD2,200) fine to a group that produced sensationalist and salacious comedy video clips for children on YouTube.

The clips criticised for having violent and sexual scenes

In the clips, actors will dress as popular characters such as Spiderman and Elsa. The video clips also use children and kid tags to specifically aim at young children.

However, the content of the clips has been widely criticised for having violent and sexual scenes that may have a negative effect on children.

In the "Gummy Tongue Prank" clip, queen Elsa had her fake tongue cut out. The tongue was sent to Spiderman who later put it back into Elsa's mouth. In another clip, Santa Claus turns into a wolf. He pushes Elsa onto the ground and kisses her neck.

According to the Authority of Broadcasting and Electronic Information, under the Ministry of Information and Communication, the group consists of 20 Vietnamese people age from 18 to 20. The group has produced many clips for children.

They was fined VND30m (USD1,300) and asked to remove all inappropriate video clips from their Youtube account. The Yeah 1 Network, an official partner with YouTube in Vietnam, was fined VND20m for failing to exercise editorial control and has been told to remove the clips.
