Grobest Vietnam grants 100 scholarships to poor pupils in Long An
Grobest Industrial Vietnam Company on February 22 presented 100 scholarships for poor pupils in the southern province of Long An under an agreement signed with the Vietnam Study Promotion Association last year.
Duong Cong Cuong, headmaster of Tran Chi Nam Primary School, said that many pupils from the schools are from poor families. Currently, the school still lacks classrooms, so this has obviously affected learning. Particularly, on the tidal season, the classrooms are opened from 11 am to only 3 pm. He expressed his great thanks to Grobest and called on for more supports from donors.
Thao Nhi, a pupil from Dong Thanh Primary School, said that she will use the scholarship to buy medicines for her maternal grandmother. She will try to study well to fulfill her dream of becoming a doctor in the near future.
