Taxi driver arrested for endangering traffic police
Soc Son District Police have arrested a taxi driver for trying to drive off while a police was clinging to the hood of his vehicle after being caught breaking the traffic law in Hanoi.
According to the police, at 9.15 am on February 7, two police officers Nguyen Duc Tuan and Nguyen Van Thuong discovered that a Mai Linh taxi car was parking at a banned location. When being asked for papers, Doan hit the accelerator to try to run away but he was stopped after 300 metres.
After 20km, Doan slowed down the car and let the officer jump down. He continued driving to Thai Nguyen Province. He was arrested at 12.09 pm near Samsung industrial zone and admitted his guilt.
