Three killed, two others injured in HCM City motorbike robbery
At least three men have been killed and two others seriously injured while chasing after a group of motorbike robbers in Ho Chi Minh City.
While struggling to seize the robbers, five men were stabbed. Three of them died due to serious injuries while two others were being treated in hospital.
A witness said that she and some others saw the fighting but no one dared to interfere because they have knives and swords.
"After injuring the four men, the robbers drove away in two motorbikes," the witness said.
Police investigate the case
According to local police, the incident occurred at 8pm on Cach Mang Thang Tam Street in District 3 when a man named Phuong, 32, parked his scooter in front of a clothes shop and came into the shop.
A group of four robbers came to break the lock of Phuong's scooter. When they were about to take the vehicle away, some local men came to stop them.While struggling to seize the robbers, five men were stabbed. Three of them died due to serious injuries while two others were being treated in hospital.
