Sudden fire breaks out on passenger train
A fire suddenly broke out between two carriages on a train running through Phu Yen Province on June 6.
The fire was extinguished after 30 minutes and the train received a safety inspection. Two fire engines were also sent out in case the fire broke out again.
Several crew members suffer from minor injuries. Passengers were relocated to other empty carriages to continue the trip. The third carriage, where the fire broke out, was detached from the train. The incident didn't affect other trains.
The crew apologised to the passengers and said that the fire was caused by a short circuit.
The incident is still under investigation.
