The child rescued from a toilet and nicknamed “Abandon” will be discharged on December 30 and adopted by his rescuer.

“This little baby was able to survive thanks to kind hearted nurses, doctors and donators. Surprisingly, he has a very strong vitality and has impressively overcome the first challenge of his life. He is very lovely and he does not cry as much as other babies do.” said Le Thi Phuong, Manager of the obstetrical ward.

“Many people wanted to adopt this unfortunate baby. After discussing with the pediatric ward and our leaders, we have decided to give the baby to Ta Huu Trung, who rescued "Abandon" and brought him to the hospital. At present he is completing adoption and discharging procedures.” added Phuong.

Trung said he would send his daughter to a kindergarten so his wife would have more time to take care of the newly adopted baby.
