Truck accident kills two, injures five Vietnamese workers in Laos
Two Vietnamese workers have been killed and five others seriously injured when a truck carrying them overturned in Laos on Thursday.
Speaking to Dan Tri/Dtinews on June 22, chairman of Nghe An Province's Dien Kim Communal People's Committee, Pham Xuan Bang, confirmed the accident with the seven workers from his commune.
According to Bang, they received information from the victims' families on Thursday evening.
"The victims were among 20 construction workers who were going on a truck to their workplace in Savanakhet Province when it overturned earlier the same day," Bang said.
Two men, aged 30 and 26 died at the site when five injured people have been taken to Hue General Hospital for treatment.
