Stronger cold spell forecasted in north

The northern region has been forecasted to see a stronger cold snap with temperatures of 20-22 degrees centigrade.

According to the National Centre for Hydro-meteorology Forecasting, the cold weather would affect the north from this afternoon, October 15. 

  

The northern region has been forecasted to see a stronger cold snap with temperatures of 20-22 degrees centigrade.

From tomorrow, the northern region’s temperature would be 20-22 degrees centigrade on average. Some mountainous areas would even experience temperatures of 18-20 degrees centigrade.

Hanoi is predicted to see temperatures ranging from 22 to 29 degrees centigrade. Some localities in the city would have rains during the daytime.

The weather would also affect the northern central region from October 16.

The National Centre for Hydro-meteorology Forecasting reported rains would hit most of the country on October 15-24.

An expert from the National Centre for Hydro-meteorology Forecasting recently said that this year’s winter would come earlier than usual and be colder than the past five years.

The country is expected to face 2-3 storms from now until the year-end which would mostly occur in central and southern regions.
