Two passengers detained for threatening Vietjet flight attendant
Two passengers have been detained by Hanoi police for threatening and attempting to attack a female attendant on budget carrier Vietjet Air’s flight.
The two men whose names have yet to be released were on flight VJ212 on HCM City to Vinh City on Wednesday.
When the captain announced that the plane had to make an emergency landing in Hanoi's Noi Bai Airport due to bad weather in Vinh, some passengers became angry and the two men insulted and physically-threatened a flight attendant.
After landing at Noi Bai International Airport at 8:40 am, the captain refused to allow men to continue on the flight. They continued using foul language and then bang their hands on the aircraft.
Security ejected them from the flight and they were handed over to police.
